Katie Butcher has enjoyed ten years living and working in the Nashville music and television industry. She currently spends her days at MTV Networks in the CMT Music & Media Licensing department and has previously worked in music licensing at Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI). Katie is also the co-owner of West End Enterprises, a firm specializing in talent coordination and production support. West End is proud to work for a variety of Nashville firms including the Country Music Association, Premiere Radio Networks, SOLID and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belmont University (Marketing, Music Business) and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. She is a 2004 recipient of the Belmont University Practicing Entrepreneurship Award and a two-time nominee for the Crabb Creative Writing Award. Her work has also been published in The Business Communication Casebook edited by James S. O’Rourke.
